It is our personal and professional goal at BP YOGA & PILATES to offer you the very highest in professional expertise, training and care.
All our teachers hold Internationally recognised levels of certification in their chosen fields. Such high levels of certification demand that our teachers continue to commit to rigorous training, study and professional development.
All our teachers have many, many years of experience and are passionate and genuine in their approach to their chosen methodologies.

ABOUT THE STUDIO
The studio was opened by Jo Tasic and Gemma Duff in September 2014. Jo and Gemma are committted to providing the community with legitimate and authentic modalities of care that support individuals to recover, grow strong and live full active lives.
Therefore our teachers specialise in their chosen fields and do not mix and match modalities based on current trends.
The studio is fully equipped, light, spacious, quiet and clean. Offering a calm, clear environment conducive to self care and personal development.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US
Our teachers will provide clarity of instrucion, quality of care and the highest level of expertise available on the Bellarine Peninsula.
Therefore all our classes and sessions do book out very quickly so please contact Jo, Gemma, Heather or Steve to ensure you get an opportunity to work with us. 

PLEASE NOTE: Bookings are essential for all classes and private sessions. No casual attendance is available due to high demand for class/session spaces and times.

Jo Tasic is an Internationally Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and has been practicing and teaching Yoga for the past 12 years.
Jo is one of only 4 teachers in the entire region that hold approved and recognised certification in Iyengar yoga and the only teacher on the Bellarine who is certified to teach the Iyengar methodology. 

In class with Jo you can expect to discover what yoga is all about and how through developing commitment to regular practice yoga can enhance your life physically, physiologically and emotionally.

Jo has been teaching in the local community for many years and opened Bellarine Peninsula yoga studio, Drysdale in 2005.

Gemma Duff is an Internationally certified Pilates instructor with a broad range of qualifications and experience spanning over the past 11 years.  She has been comprehensively trained in both Mat and Studio equipment and is very proud to be the first person in regional Victoria to be a graduate of the International BASI teacher training program.

Through classes with Gemma you will discover the joy of movement as you increase strength and improve flexibility.  You will begin to feel more balanced, aligned, co-ordinated and stable in your everyday movement resulting in less muscle tension and more relaxed and efficient movement.

Heather Fraser is an experienced Meditation and Relaxation teacher with a background in education and holistic healing. She draws on over 25 years of professional and personal practice and an exploration and study of a wide range of philosophies and practices.

In Heather’s classes, you are introduced to Feeling Breath Meditation. You will learn the practices of release and rebalancing breath exercises, which help the freeing of attention into the meditative process.

Feeling Breath Meditation also teaches exercises to reintegrate the body’s energy pathways. These exercises are suitable for all levels of skill and ability and can be used to immediately and effectively reduce feelings of stress.

EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY

Steve Kientzle aims to enhance human performance for well-being through rehabilitation.  He has a 5 year degree in Exercise and Movement Science with an understudy in Kinesiology. He is also a certified Health Specialist by the ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) standards.

Exercise Physiology specialises in the delivery of exercise for the prevention and management of chronic diseases and injuries. Through one on one personalised training sessions, you can expect an improvement in your strength, balance, and flexibility to help you create an overall better quality of life.
